The Bachelor of Secondary Education – Major in English prepares students to teach literature, grammar, writing, and communication in junior and senior high school. The program emphasizes language mastery, critical thinking, and effective classroom instruction.

With real-world teaching experiences and a curriculum aligned to national standards, graduates are confident, competent, and ready to inspire students through the power of language. Established in 2008 by Alexander D. Tomawis, IBICCI continues its mission of quality education under the leadership of Cabib Morrow, head of the College of Education.

Student Achievements

Mr. Mujahed H. Alpa (BSEd – Mathematics Major) earned 1st Place out of 110 participants nationwide in the National Teacher Education Quiz Bee 2024, hosted by the Dr. Carl E. Balita Review Center, proving academic distinction in the teaching field.

Ms. Mahadeah Guimba Casan (BEEd) was selected as Mutya ng PRISAA 2025 Representative, representing IBICCI with pride, intellect, and grace in a prestigious regional event.
